=> x^2 + 1 = (2√2 +3 )^2 + 1 [ both side square
plus one]
=> x^2 = (2√2)^2 + 2 . 2√2 .3 + 3^2
=> x^2 = 8 + 12√2 + 9
=> x^2 = 17 + 12√2
there fore,
x = 2√2 + 3
and. x^2 = 17 + 12 √ 2
