Let the y's income be 100.

Then, X's income = 100 + 20% of 100

                            = 100 + 20/100 x 100

                            = Rs. 120

Change in income = 120 - 100

                             = Rs. 20

Change percentage = change/original value x 100%

                                = 20/120 x 100

                                = 10/3 x 5

                                = 15/3 = 5%

Hence, 5% is y's income less than x.

\huge\red{Answer}

X=1.6Y=1 3/5Y=8/5Y

5/8X=Y

Y=.60Z=3/5Z

Y=Y

5/8X=3/5Z

X=3/5Z×8/5

X/Z=24/25

(X/Z×100)

From above, X/Z=24/25

(24/25×4/4×100)=(96/100)×100)=96 percent

X is 96 percent of Z
