we know that,

  • Geometric mean of a and b = √(ab)

we have , given that,

  • a = 16
  • b = 4
  • x = Geometric mean

so,

→ x = √(ab)

→ x = √(16 * 4)

→ x = √(64)

→ x = √(8)²
