If x is added to each of 14, 12, 34 and
30, the numbers so obtained, in this
order, are in proportion. What is the
value of 12x +9?​

x = 6

Given numbers are 14, 12, 34 and 36. When we add 6 to each of them, we will get the new numbers as 20, 18, 40 and 36

20:18 = 40:36, the new numbers are in proportion.

Now, 12x + 9 = 12*6 + 9 = 72 + 9 = 81
