If x is bigger than y by 2 X+Y = 50 what will be the value of Y

By the conditions given in your question we get two equations

x-y=2. ... (1)

x+y=50. ... (2)

By adding equation (1)&(2) we get

2x=52

x=26

substituting value of x in equation (1)

26-y=2

y=24
