If x is equal to 2 by 3 and x is equal to minus 3 are roots of the quadratic equation X square + 7 x + 6 is equal to zero find the value of a and bAnswers
it is given that 2/3 is the root of x^2+7x+6
so a(2/3)^2+b(2/3)+6=0
       4a/9+2b/3+6=0
      4a+4b/9=0
do the complete equation.........(1)
       a(-3)^2+7(-3)+6=0
       9a-21b+6=0
       9a-21b=0.......(2)
so by substituting these equations you will get the answer
of a and b
