if x is equal to 4 + square root 15 find the value of x minus one by X​

We have x= 4+√15

First of all we find 1/x

1/x= 1/4+√15

By rationalizing it

1/4+√15×4-√15/4-√15

4-√15/(4)²-(√15)²

4-√15/16-15

4-√15

Now we find x-1/x

x-1/x= 4+√15-4-√15

x-1/x= 0

Therefore value of x-1/x is 0.
