Answer:

x = √2 + 1

x - 1 / x = 0

√2 - 1 - 1 / √2 - 1 = 0

√2 - 2 /  √2 - 1 = 0

On rationalizing we get,

2 - √2 - 2√2 + 2 / 2 - 1 = 0

2 - 3√2 + 2 / 1 = 0

4 - 3√2 = 0

HOPE THAT IT WAS HELPFUL!!!!

Answer:

x = root 2+1

=>x-1 =( root 2+1)-1

=>x-1 = x -1

so, value of -x upon x will be -(x-1)

that is -x+1
