1ans: ionic compounds are more soluble than covalent compounds because ionic compounds are polar and water is polar i.e.,polar dissolves in polar.
2ans and 3ans: the melting and boiling points both are high for ionic compounds than covalent compounds, because ionic bond is formed by two ions so it is harder to separate them whereas covalent bond is combined of two distinct elements.
4ans: for ionic bond,a large cation and small anion should combine and for covalent bond,a large anion and small cation should combine,it gives the chemical reactivity
