geometric mean : if two numbers a and b are given then geometric mean of these two number is square root of their product.
e.g., geometric mean , G.M = \sqrt{ab}

Here , x is geometric mean of 25 and 4
then, x =\sqrt{25\times4}=\sqrt{100}=10

2nd method : x is geometric mean of 25 and 4
means, 25 , x , 4 are in Geometric progression.
we know, common ratio of geometric progression always remains constant .
so, x/25 =4/x
x² = 25 × 4
x = 10

Answer:

× is geometric means of 25 and 4 means, 25, 4 are in geometric progression we know common ratio of geometric progression always remain constant

so,×/25=4/×

×2 =25×4

×=10.
