if x plus Y is equal to 12 and X Y is equal to 27 find the value of x square+ Y square​

x + y = 12 \\ xy = 27 \\

now \:  \: (x + y) {}^{2} = x { }^{2}  + y {}^{2}  + 2xy

substituting \: given \: values \\ 12 { }^{2}   = x {}^{2}  + y {}^{2}  + 2(27 ) \\

x { }^{2}+ y {}^{2}  = 144 - 54 = 90
