HELLO DEAR,

\sf{GIVEN:-} x = \mathit{x = \sqrt{(3 + 2\sqrt{2})}}

\mathit{x^2 = (3 + 2\sqrt{2})}

\mathit{x^4 = (3 + 2\sqrt{2})^2}\\ \\ \mathit{x^4 = (9 + 8 + 12\sqrt{2})}-------------( 1 )

1/x⁴ = 1/(17 + 12√2) * (17 - 12√2)/(17 - 12√2)

1/x⁴ = (17 - 12√2)/(289 - 288)

1/x⁴ = (17 - 12√2)---------------( 2 )

adding-----------( 1 ) & -----------( 2 )

x⁴ + 1/x⁴ = (17 + 12√2) + (17 - 12√2)

x⁴ + 1/x⁴ = (17 + 17 + 12√2 - 12√2)

x⁴ + 1/x⁴ = 34
