if X =sinA & Y=cosA then find the value of X(square )+Y(square )

it's answer is 1 because sinx(square)+cosx(square)is one

x= sinA.....(i) and y = cos A.....(ii)

squaring and adding both equation, we get
x^2 + y^2 = sin^2A+cos^2A = 1
