X^2-6x+5=0

X^2-5x-x+5=0

X(x-5)-1(x-5)=0

(x-1)(x-5)=0

X=1 or x=5

So, 1 and 5 is the zero of the polynomial

Now, x^2-12x+p=0

If x=1,then

1-12*1+p=0

1-12+p=0

-11+p=0

P=11

If x=5 then,

5^2-12*5+p=0

25-60+p=0

P=35

For the common root

Use p=11
