hello mate.....

x =  \sqrt{3 + 1}  \\  \\ x  = \sqrt{4}  = 2 \\  \\ x {}^{2}  + y {}^{2}  = 0 \\  \\ 4 + y {}^{2}  = 0 \\  \\ y {}^{2}  =  - 4 \\  \\ y =  -  \sqrt{4}  \\ y =  - 2
