I drove East for 5 miles then drove North 3 miles then turned to my left and drove for 2 miles and again turned to my left, which direction am I going now? ​

When someone stands facing the sun in the East, his left hand points the North and the right hand the South, while the back is towards the West.

Now move that person from the East facing towards the South, and his left hand would move to the East and consequently his right hand towards the West.

Thus x's left hand points the East.
