x Varies directly with 3y+5

i.e., x=K(3y+5)

If y=  3/5

when x=10

⟹10=K(3×3/5 +5)

⟹10=K(  9/5+5)

⟹10=K×  5/34

⟹K=10×  5/35

=  25/17

∴x=  17 /25  (3y+5)

When x=35 then,

35=  17 /25  (3y+5)

∴y=  15 /94
