Then,

x =k× y 21

∴ 38 =k× (3) 21

⇒2=k× 91

⇒k=18

Then y=1 21 = 23

Then 3x =18× ( 23 ) 21

⇒ 3x=18× 94

⇒ 3x =8⇒x=2
