\sf\:x=\frac{k}{y^{2}}\: ------(i)

\sf\:when\:x=3\:and\:y=4

\sf➪\:x=\frac{k}{y^{2}}\:

\sf➪\:3=\frac{k}{4^{2}}\:

\sf➪\:3=\frac{k}{16}\:

\sf➪\:3 \times 16=k\:

\sf➪\:k=48\:

\sf\:Now\:when\:y=2\:we\:need\:to\:find\:x

\sf\:substituiting\:the\:value\:of\:k\:and\:y\:in\:(i)

\sf\:x=\frac{k}{y^{2}}\: ------(i)

\sf➪\:x=\frac{48}{2^{2}}\:

\sf➪\:x=\frac{48}{4}\:
