- Common difference
= d = x+2 -(x)
⇒ d = x-x+2
⇒ d = 2
But,

Putting the value of d in ( 1 ), we get:
= 2 = 2x + 3 - (x+2)
⇒ 2 = 2x + 3 - x -2
⇒ 2 = 2x - x + 3 - 2
