Answer: x= 1

Explanation:

Given A.P.= x, x+2, 2x +3..

To find:  The value of x

Proof:

  1. First term, a= x
  2. Common difference

   = d =  x+2 -(x)

   ⇒ d = x-x+2

   ⇒ d = 2

But,

  • d = 2x +3 - (x+2)                                     ( 1 )

Putting the value of d in ( 1 ), we get:

    = 2 = 2x + 3 - (x+2)

   ⇒ 2 = 2x + 3 - x -2

   ⇒ 2 = 2x - x + 3 - 2

   ⇒ 2= x +1

   ⇒ x= 2-1

   ⇒ x = 1

Hope you got that.

Thank You.
