The value of x is -4.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : If x,x+2,x+3, are consecutive terms of G.P.

To find : The value of x ?

Solution :

When three terms are in G.P a,b,c then b^2=ac

So, Here a=x, b=x+2 and c=x+3

Substitute the value,

(x+2)^2=x\times (x+3)

x^2+4+4x=x^2+3x

4x-3x=-4

x=-4

Therefore, the value of x is -4.
