\frac{11}{x+y}=2

x+y=\frac{11}{2}

So, x+y=5.5 ---1

x-y=0.9 ---2

Add 1 and 2

2x=5.5+0.9

2x=6.4

x=\frac{6.4}{2}

x=3.2

Substitute the value of x in 1

x + y = 5.5

3.2+y=5.5

y=5.5-3.2

y= 2.3

Hence The value of x is 3.2 and y is 2.3
