x(1-x) = 8

x - x² = 8

x² - x + 8 = 0

solve the equation to find x and put the value of x in y = 1-x to find value of y

x ( 1 - x ) = 8

x - x^2 = 8

0 = 8 +x^2 - x

0 = x^2 - x + 8
