Step-by-step explanation:

(x+y)=10••••••••1

(2x-3y)=5••••••2

(1)=>x=10-y•••••3

(2)=>2(10-y)-3y=5

=>20-2y-3y=5

=>-5y= 5-20

=>-5y= -15

=>y= 3

(3)=>x=10-3=7

So,x=7 & y=3
