We must!

Solve it in the algebraic way.

I memorized it this way.

How to lead the identity?

x³-y³=(x-y)×(x²+xy+y²)

=(x-y)×(x²-2xy+y²+3xy)

=(x-y)×(x-y)²+3xy(x-y)

=(x-y)³+3xy(x-y) --- (Identity)

We are already given x-y and xy.

∵Identity

x³-y³=(10)³+3×5×10

=1000+150

=1150

Answer:

1150

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

x - y = 10 \\ \\ xy = 5 \\

To Find :

 {x}^{3}  -  {y}^{3}

Solution :

 {x}^{3} - {y}^{3} \\ \\ {(x - y)}^{3} + 3xy(x - y) \\ \\ {(10)}^{3} + 3.5(10) \\ \\ 1000 + 150 \\ \\ 1150
