Given -

x+y=100\\ y+z=45

To find-

z+x=?

Solution-

Take the given equation

x+y=100

Rearrange these equation as you can get value of x

x = 100-y      (1)

y+z=45

Rearrange these equation as you can get value of z

z = 45 - y       (2)

As we want the value of z+x put the value of z and x from equation 1 and 2

z+x = 45 -y + 100-y\\z+x = 145 -2y

So,

The value of  z + x = 145 -2y
