if x+y=12 and xy=32 then, find the value of x²+y²?

(x + y) {}^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  + 2xy
so based on this formula
(x + y) {}^{2}  = (12) {}^{2}  \\  {x}^{2}  + y {}^{2}  + 2xy = 144
given XY is 32 so
 {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  + 2 \times 32 = 144 \\  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  + 64 = 144 \\  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  = 144 - 64 \\  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  = 80
80 is the answer
