x:y = 3:4
Then
x/y = 3/4
Comparing corresponding terms on both sides we get ,
x = 3 and y = 4
Now,
(3y - x) : (2x + y)
= (3*4 - 3) : (2*3 + 4)
=(12 - 3) : (6 + 4)
= 9 : 10
