x+y+x-y=3+5

cut -y with +y

x+x=8

2x=8

x=8÷2=4

then,x=4

putting x=4 in 1 equation we get

4-y=3

-y= 3-4= -1

-y= -1

both minus will be cut

then, y=1

putting x=4 and y=1 in 3 equation we get

4-1=3

then , x-y=3
