x²+y²=5_____Equation 2

☆ Squaring Equation 1

=》(x + y )² = (3)²

=》x² + y² + 2xy = 9

=》5 + 2xy = 9 ( from Equation 2 )

=》2xy = 9 - 5

=》2xy = 4

=xy = 2

Answer :

The value of xy is 2 .
