★ANSWER★

Given Here :-

  • (x+y , 3y-2) = (9,6) ....(1)

Find here:-

  • Value of (x,y)

Explanation:-

we can write (1) ,

  • x +y = 9 .........(2)

  • 3y -2 = 6

  • => 3y = 6+2

  • => y = 8/3 ....(3)

Keep value of y in (2) ,

=> x +8/3 = 9

=>x = 9 - (8/3)

=> x = (27-8)/3

=>x = 19/3 ......(4)

Answer verification :-

keep value of x and y in (1) ,

=> (19/3) + (8/3) = 9

=> (19+8)/3 = 9

=> (27/3) =9

=> 9 = 9

L.H.S. = R.H.S.

That's proved

Question

If (x+y,3y-2)=(9,6) , then find (x,y)

Solution

Given here :-

  • ( x + y , 3y - 2 ) = (9,2)

We can write this in equation form

So,

  • x + y = 9 ------------equ(1)
  • 3y - 2 = 2 -----------equ(2)

Find :-

  • Value of x & y

Explanation

By, equation(2)

==> 3y - 2 = 2

==>2y = 2 + 2

==>2y = 4

==>y = 4/2

==> y = 2

Keep Value of by in equ(1)

==> x + 2 = 9

==> x = 9 - 2

==>x = 7

Hence

  • Value of x = 7
  • Value of y = 2

Answer Verification

Keep value of x & y in equ(1)

==> 7 + 2 = 9

==> 9 = 9

L.H.S. = R.H.S.

That's proved.
