x-y =4, xy =12

find value of x ³- y³

x³ - y ³= ( x- y ) ( x ² + y ² + xy )

=(4)(x² + y ²+12)...... 1

as find value of x² + y²

(x-y)²= x² +y² -2xy

(4)² =x² + y² - 2(12)

16 =x² + y² -24

16+24 =x²+y²

40 =x² + y²

put value in ....1

x³-y³= (4)(40+12)

=(4)(52)

= 208

x³-y³ = 208
