\huge{\mathcal{\purple{A}\pink{N}\purple{S}\pink{W}\purple{E}\pink{R}\purple{:}\pink{:}}}

x\ratio \: y = 5\ratio \: 4 \\

and \: 2\ratio \: x = 3\ratio \: 8 \\

then \:  \frac{x}{y}  =  \frac{5}{4}  \:  \:  \: ...(i) \\

and \:  \frac{2}{x}  =  \frac{3}{8}  \:  \:  \: ...(ii) \\

x =  \frac{2 \times 8}{3}  =  \frac{16}{3}  \\

now \: put \: the \: value \: of \: x \: in \: eq.(i) \\

 \frac{x}{y}  =  \frac{5}{4}  \\

y = x \times  \frac{4}{5}  \\

y =  \frac{16}{3}  \times  \frac{4}{5}  =  \frac{64}{15}  \\
