We know that, (a-b)^2 = (a+b)^2-4ab Then, find the value of (x-y) i.e. x-y = 1........(ii) And x+y = 5........(i) By solving equations (i) and (ii) we get the value of x and y . Put the value of x and y to (x^3-y^3) find the answer. Best of luck ;-)
