Step-by-step explanation:

X+Y=5-----i

x=5-y

XY=6------------ii

=>(5-y)y=6

=>-y²+5y=6

=>-1(y²-5y+6)=0

=>y²-5y+6=0

By splitting the middle term

=>y²-3y-2y+6

=>y(y-3)-2(y-3)

=>(y-2)(y-3)=0

∴y=3

x=5-y

x=2

∴x³+y³

=2³+3³

=8+27

=35

:)Thanks
