If x+y=5, y+z=7 and z+x=12, what is the value of x+y+z?

Answer:

x+y=5.................... (i)

Y+z=7....................(ii)

Z+x=12..................(iii)

Add (i), (ii), (iii)

2(x+y+z)=5+7+12=24

Or, x+y+z=24/2=12
