Hey mate!

Here's your answer!

x+y = 5

=> x = 5-y ...(i)

y+z = 7

=> z = 7-y ...(ii)

z+x = 12 ...(iii)

Substituting (i) and (ii) in (iii),

7-y+5-y = 12

=> 12-2y = 12

=> y = 1/2

When y = 1/2,

x = 5-1/2

=> x = 9/2

Also,

z = 7-1/2

=> z = 13/2

Therefore, the values of x, y and z are 9/2, 1/2 and 13/2 respectively.

Hope it helps :)
