If x+y = 6 and X*Y = 4 find the value of x power2 + y power2

ANSWER-

x+y=6___________(1)

(x)(y)=4__________(2)

To find-

We know-

(x+y)²= +2xy+

Therefore,

+= (x+y)² -2xy

from equation 1 and 2.

+= (6)²-2(4)

+=36-8

+=28

the value is 28!!
