x - y = 4                       (ii)

By adding both (i) and (ii) , we get 2x = 10

or x = 5

Since x + y = 6 , we have 5 + y = 6 or y = 1

=> 5² + 1²

=> 25 + 1 = 26

=> 5 * 1

=> 5
