If x - y = 6 and xy = 10 find the value of x^2+y^2​

Answer:

x+y=6 (1)

x-y=4 (2)

After eliminating

We get 2x=10

X=5

Putting value of x in eq (1)

We get y=1

Then(i) x²+y²=(5)²+(1)²

=25+1=26

ii)xy=5*1=5
