x:y=7:9
y:z=15:7
now we have to make second term of first ratio and first term of second ratio equal
lcm of 9 and 15 is 45 so
 \frac{x}{y} = \frac{7 \times 5}{9 \times 5} = \frac{ 35}{45} \\ \frac{y}{z} = \frac{15 \times 3}{7 \times 3} = \frac{45}{21} \\
So. x:y:z = 35:45:21

x:z =35:21=5:3

chopraneetu: twice means

Step-by-step explanation:

x:y=7:9

y:z=15:7

now we have to make second term of first ratio and first term of second ratio equal

lcm of 9 and 15 is 45 so

\begin{gathered} \frac{x}{y} = \frac{7 \times 5}{9 \times 5} = \frac{ 35}{45} \\ \frac{y}{z} = \frac{15 \times 3}{7 \times 3} = \frac{45}{21} \\ \end{gathered}

y

x

=

9×5

7×5

=

45

35

z

y

=

7×3

15×3

=

21

45

So. x:y:z = 35:45:21

x:z =35:21=5:3
