since x+y=7
x=7-y. eq1
now xy=12
using eq1
(7-y) *y=12
7y-y²=12
y²-7y+12=0
y²-4y-3y+12=0
y*(y-4)-3*(y-4)=0
(y-3)*(y-4)=0
therefore y=3 ,4
putting y=3,4 in eq1
when y=3
x=4
when y=4
x=3
now when y=3 and x=4
x^(y+2)=4^(2+2)=4^4=16²=256
now when y=4 and x=3
x^(y+2)=3^(4+2)=3^6=9³=729
x=7-y. eq1
now xy=12
using eq1
(7-y) *y=12
7y-y²=12
y²-7y+12=0
y²-4y-3y+12=0
y*(y-4)-3*(y-4)=0
(y-3)*(y-4)=0
therefore y=3 ,4
