first we will solve second equation then we will get the value of y..now put the value of y in first equation and we will get the value of x

y-7=-14

y=-14+7

y=-7

x+y=7

x+(-7)=7

x-7=7

x=7+7

x=14

Answer:

y - 7=-14

=y= -14+7

=y = -7

x+y =7

=x+(-7) =7

= x-7 =7

= x= 7+7

= x=14

The value of x is 14.
