◙ Given ◙

x + y = 8 et xy = 15.

◙ To find ◙

The value of x⁴ + x²y² + y⁴.

◙ Solution ◙

We know,

x⁴ + x²y² + y⁴ = (x² + y²)²

= [(x + y)² - 2xy]²

= [(8)² - 2(15)]²

= (64 - 30)²

= 34²

= 1156
