Given:- if x-y= 9 and xy=16 .

To Find :- Value of x² + y².

Answer :- Here , x - y = 9 and xy = 16 . So ;

=> x - y = 9

=> ( x - y )² = 9²

=> x² + y² - 2xy = 81

=> x² + y² - 2(16) = 81.

=> x² + y² - 32 = 81.

=> x² + y² = 81 + 32.

=> + = 113.

Hence the value of x²+y² is 113.
