If x,y and z are in continued proportion,prove that x^2 -y^2 : x^2 + y^2 = x-z : x+ z

x {}^{2}  -  {y}^{2}  :  {x}^{2} +   {y}^{2}  = x - z : x + z \\ xy {}^{2}  : x {y}^{2}   \\ or \\ xy {}^{4}
