1 is correct because x(y+Z), anything multiplied by an even integer will be even.

2 can not be confirmed as it depends on y if it is odd or even and can not be confirmed with given information.

(8x+1)(x+8)

=(8x+1)(x+8)

=(8x)(x)+(8x)(8)+(1)(x)+(1)(8)

=8x2+64x+x+8

=8x2+65x+8
