If X, Y and Z are three points on a line, and Y lies between X and Z,
then prove that XY + YZ = XZ.

XY+YZ=XZ

first we will draw a line .We put the Y in the middle of XandY .Now we know Euclid's axiom that if equal are added to equal the whole are equal.

Hence, We proved that XY+YZ=XZ
