If X,Y is 20%,30% smaller then Z how much percentage is X smaller than Y?

Let, the Z = 100

Then X = 20% less than Z

=> X =100 × (100-20)/100 = 80

And Y = 30% less than Z

=> Y = 100×(100-30)/100 = 70

How much percentage is X greater than Y :

 \frac{80 - 70}{70}  \times 100 =  \frac{100}{7}  = 14  \frac{2}{7}

And Y smaller than X :

 \frac{80 - 70}{80}   \times 100  =  \frac{100}{8} =   12  \frac{1}{2}
