Taking LCM we get

(x²+y²)/xy = 1

or x² + y² = xy ......  eqn 1

Now, x³ + y³ = (x + y)(x²−xy+y²)

=(x+y)[(x²+y²)−xy]

=(x+y)(xy−xy)  ...... Substituting x² + y² = xy

= 0
